Savinelli Series III Discounted Pipes
This is a special discounted pricing on great smoking pipes that, as my grandfather used to say, have been beaten by the ugly stick! While all Savinelli Series III pipes have visible cosmetic flaws, this listing is for those pipes that have more flaws than I'm comfortable selling at full price. While having a face only a mother could love, these pipes are still guaranteed to smoke as well as any Savinelli! I will be listing particular shapes, but as with all of my listings, I'm not able to provide pictures of the individual pipe. A "group photo" is provided to show examples of the approximate level of blemishes on these pipes, but please check the standard product pages for pictures of specific shapes, or cross-reference the Savinelli Shape Chart. All pipes are sanded smooth and unfinished. Before purchasing, make sure you'll be happy with a physically marred, but functional pipe.
Priced cheaper than any other Savinelli offerings, these are the ultimate knock-around briar smoking instruments for camping, fishing, or what some refer to as truck pipes or shop pipes!

Series III Pipes
Savinelli Series III pipes are unfinished and un-fancy, yet provide the most desired quality for any pipe: A great smoke!
They started out as various Savinelli shapes for different lines, and were pulled from the batch for various cosmetic reasons such as small voids, or irregularities or openings in the grain. Rather than being destroyed, as is the case with other briar pieces with more functional issues, these were sanded as smooth as possible and fitted with a non-filtered or 9mm-filtered vulcanite stem and are sold in an "unfinished" state. What this means is that these are still very good smoking, well-drilled and stamped Savinelli pipes, without staining or waxing...just with a few cosmetic flaws to give them a bit of character. This provides a wonderful smoking instrument at a very reasonable value that has the potential to smoke even cooler than your more expensive pipes, because they have no finish barriers to hold in heat. In addition, these pipes have the side-benefit of coloring to a dark brown over time as they are smoked!

The picture is only a sample of how your pipe will appear. Due to the nature of these pipes, there will be slight differences in shaping and locations of flaws. I've done my best to accurately describe each Series III pipe by comparing the Savinelli Shape Chart with my own personal knowledge of pipe shapes, but I've been known to make mistakes. Before purchasing, please make sure you'll be happy with a slight variant of the pipe pictured.
Shapes with more than 5 available will state nothing beside the quantity field when selected, while shapes of 5 or less will show exactly how many are still in stock. Shapes will state "Sold Out" in red and will be unavailable to purchase once the last one is sold. The site will only allow purchases of up to the quantity available for each individual shape.
