The tin states, "Recommended for the experienced pipe smoker," which made me hesitate to try what has become one of my most treasured blends. It's definitely on the stronger side, but don't let that scare you away. I say that if you know you like burley-based blends, Dark Fired Kentucky, or Virginias, give it a try...it may be right up your alley!
