Missouri Meerschaum Eaton
Due to its simple design and low price, the Eaton Corn Cob Pipe is ideal for a quick smoke, for trying new tobaccos, and for party favors. The Eaton has a smaller, barrel-shaped bowl that is all natural. It has a long, slim, non-filtered stem with a short amber bit.
Due to the nature of the corn cobs themselves, you may notice some chipping on the top edge of your pipe. This is perfectly normal and won’t in any way affect the way your pipe smokes. The chips only add to the charm and character of your corn cob pipe.
Pipe Nook Notes
The Eaton and the Pony Express are the same basic pipe except that the Eaton has an unfinished bowl exterior, and the Pony Express has a lightly finished bowl exterior. Not recommended as your first or only pipe, because of the small bowl size. This is a good pipe to test various blends with.
This is an unfiltered pipe. If you are looking for a first pipe or are fairly new to pipe smoking, I strongly recommend trying a 6mm or 9mm filtered pipe. If you're one of the many who battle the dreaded tongue-bite, filtered pipes help to alleviate this problem. You can always try smoking your filtered pipes without a filter in place, to see if unfiltered smoking irritates your tongue, and can purchase non-filtered pipes from there. If you already know that tongue-bite is not an issue for you, then never mind. :)
